Privacy & your data

Our audience is families, so we keep data collection to the minimum and treat it with care. This notice explains what we collect, why, and how you stay in control. Lawful basis for the weekend email is your consent.

What we collect

  • Your email address, only if you sign up for the weekend email.
  • Your postcode, used only to measure the driving distance from your home to events. It is stored securely and never shared.
  • Age bands for your children (for example "3 to 4"), so we can show age-appropriate ideas. We never store children's names and never store dates of birth.
  • Anonymous usage analytics, only with your consent via the cookie banner, to improve the site.

What we never collect

We never ask for or store any child's name, date of birth, photo or any other personal detail about a child. The "Add your event" form is for event details only.

How we use it

To send you the weekly weekend email, personalised to your area and your children's age bands, with the drive time for each idea. That is all. We do not sell your data, and we do not pass it to advertisers.

Your control

  • Unsubscribe and delete in one tap. Every email has a one-click link that both stops the email and deletes your record, including your postcode.
  • You can also email [email protected] to access, correct or delete your data at any time.
  • Your saved Weekend Plan lives only in your own browser. Clearing it removes it entirely.

Storage and security

Data is held on Cloudflare's infrastructure within the UK and EU regions. Postcodes are stored securely. We keep your data only for as long as you are subscribed.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to make the site work, and, only with your consent, anonymous analytics. See our cookie notice.
